Virtual Model United Nations Conference
  • Co-Curricular

Congratulations to William in Year 11 who has been taking part in a three-week online Model United Nations Conference run by MUN Impact. Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically role play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. William is a founder member of our Prior Park MUN Club run by Mrs Mason.

Since lock down, MUN Impact has developed a series of free courses to keep young people connected and learning about important global issues. Mentors from the organisation provide asynchronous coaching and mentoring as part of the programme.

We were delighted to hear that William received a personal mention from one of the directors for being one of the best delegates in the debate. Indeed, he has become so passionate about this activity that he has signed up for the second round of courses and can’t wait to attend a real conference in due course.
