Spring Festival Short Story Competition 2022

We had wonderful success at the Spring Festival Short Story Competition this year, with 5 of our students coming away as either winners, runners-up or highly commended. There was a total of 456 entries across a range of ages and they were judged by a panel of judges, consisting of Mr Charles Durante, Ms Conchita Triay, and Mrs Aida Delaney.

Prior Park’s winners were as follows:

 School Years 11 to 13

Runner-up: Nicole Zinovev with ‘Consumption’ 

Highly Commended: Jack Bingham with ‘Vengeance’


School Years 8 to 10

Winner: Phoebe Gatenby with ‘Regrets’ 

Runner-up: Martha Taylor with ‘The Platform’ 


School Years 6 to 7

Runner-up: Daisy Moir with ‘The Perfect Day’
