The Board of Trustees are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Martyn as the Head of Prior Park Gibraltar from September 2024. Against an impressive, gathered field, Paul Martyn, well known within the school community as Deputy Head, Academic, was the clear choice to succeed our Founding Head, Peter Watts.

Anne Shepherd, Chair of Trustees, said: “I could not be more pleased that Paul Martyn will be leading Prior Park Gibraltar with vision, energy, and commitment as it moves onwards and upwards on the next stage of its journey. As he takes up the baton, the school’s values of courage, generosity and curiosity will continue to inspire staff and students alike to embrace the many exciting opportunities Prior Park offers.”

Expressing his enthusiasm, Mr Martyn shared, “I am thrilled and delighted to assume the role of Head at Prior Park School. Having been part of the founding teachers in 2016, I take great pride in our collective accomplishments under Mr. Watts’ leadership. I eagerly anticipate contributing to the continued success of our caring and nurturing community—a community like no other I have had the privilege to work in. Leading the school into its next chapter is an honour I embrace wholeheartedly.”
