Language Trip to Lyon, France
  • School Trips

The Spring half term French trip to Lyon was an overwhelming success.  Whether it was a student first dipping their toe into the French language and culture, or more established members of the French learning community, all students in attendance could not help to have their learning and pastoral development enriched by being submerged into the French way of life.

The majority of days started with a French language course. This was followed by students being able to immediately try out their newly acquired speaking skills by ordering lunch in the local market.  The afternoons were spent visiting the wonderful cultural buildings within Lyon and living the authentic French way of life.  Evenings were passed in French restaurants, sampling the delightful cuisine and the retelling of exciting stories from the day.

It was wonderful to see new friendships formed and other friendships cemented.  The group worked together as an incredible unit and all will have had their lives culturally enhanced from the experience.

Lyon - merci beaucoup de nous tous!
