Fantastic first set of A Level results for Prior Park students

We are delighted to announce a fantastic first set of A Level results for Prior Park students.

When we opened our Sixth Form in September 2018 to our first cohort of A Level students, no one could have imagined how the year 2020 would unfold.

Despite all the uncertainty for students, the cancellation of exams and the closure of schools across the world, we are proud to announce that our students have been awarded some fantastic A Level results.

Our first A Level cohort achieved a 100% pass rate, with an outstanding 71%of all grades being between A – A*, compared to 28% for all other schools.

36%of all grades were the highest possible grade A* which significantly exceeds this level of attainment across school in the UK at 9%.

These outstanding achievements now form part of the extremely strong track record Prior Park School has built in student achievement since opening in 2016 and reveals the resulting confidence the UK awarding bodies have in our performance and progress.

None of the Centre Assessment Grades we submitted to the awarding bodies were moderated or amended.

We are both incredibly proud and a little sad to bid farewell and good luck to our first A level cohort as they embark on the next stage of their academic journey. Many leave us to join some of the most prestigious universities in the UK to read Physics, Economics, Medicine and other health-related degrees amongst others.

We thank the local community for their continued support of our school and look forward to another exciting year full of success and progress at Prior Park.
