Our Sixth Form opened in September 2018 and offers a broad range of A Levels.
Class sizes are small with a maximum of 12 per class so students receive the support and attention they need to guide them through this period.
The emphasis at this stage of a child’s time at Prior Park is to help prepare them as the employees and employers of the future, without losing sight of their personal development which will make them good friends, colleagues, partners and parents. Our aim is that all our senior pupils will be independent minded and self-motivated and act as role models for the younger students in the school.
We recognise the many pressures and challenges that students face so pastoral care and teacher support are as fundamental in these years as they were previously. We encourage students to continue with their sports, arts and other extra-curricular opportunities, as well as taking the time to relax and socialise with their friends.
We want our Sixth Form community to be strong, lively, stimulating, fulfilling, rewarding and enjoyable.
Working alongside parents, we will know that we will have done our job well if our A Level students leave school as capable, flexible, articulate and compassionate young adults ready to embrace and shape the future.
