This week, Prior Park School welcomed Governors and colleagues from Prior Park College in Bath, as well as local Governors, Alumni and friends of Prior Park to attend a plaque unveiling ceremony.
The plaque was dedicated to Friends and Founders of the school, who have helped and supported the school’s journey so far, whether that be financially, or in terms of time, energy or experience.
As the school nears the end of its inaugural year, Headmaster Peter Watts reflected on the progress made so far with the help of so many in the community and looked ahead to what is yet to come.
Peter Watts commented, “Opening a school must always be a good thing if we believe, as we should, in the importance of supporting our own children, and indeed the children of others in sustaining our communities, our societies and our planet after we are gone”.
As the next intake of students prepare to join Prior Park in September, the school looks forward to developing and strengthening its relationships with the local community in Gibraltar in the years ahead.
